HOW DUMB IS DUMB? <AGAIN>

  1. President Trump’s favored candidate, Rep. Ron DeSantis, declared victory Tuesday night over state Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam in Florida’s Republican gubernatorial primary after riding the wave of the president's endorsement to the ballot box.

Also Tuesday, the Bernie Sanders-backed Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum pulled off an upset in defeating a half a dozen rivals, including former Rep. Gwen Graham, in the Democratic primary for governor, according to projections from the Fox News Decision Desk.

If the Democrats keep this up..they will lose again..It should be obvious now..Extremism never did and never will make it in our country..

I am NOT a Republican either..just an Independent thinker with no political allegiances..

I voted for Gilllum. I believe the young progressives came out in droves - progressives, people of color, and women will be a force in November.

  3. Maybe so, but imo, Dems would be better off pushing candidates with agendas more in line with current thinking. (if they want to try to control congress)

  4. I agree but I don't think it will make much of a difference in the mid-terms. Plus I believe there are a lot of people like you that will vote Democrat in hopes of change in the WH. Kind of like when Carter was elected - a chimp could have won that election if he was a Democrat.

  5. I know I said I was going to pull all Democrat levers in the coming elections..I have to admit, it will be a gut wrenching experience if I have to vote for someone like that woman that's running in NY; but I'll do it anyway, just to get rid of the plague infecting our country.

  6. I understand what you are saying and why you said you will likely push the Dem lever for all in Nov... but the middle road didn't work for the Dems in 2016... not that i would vote for any congress or senator 3rd party candidate this time as to risk taking a vote from a Dem...

My hope is some of the more progressive Dems are on the ballot rather than some polished neo liberals from the Obama Clinton era...

  7. I agree..But imo Trump is the worst of all evils (SO FAR)..He must go, even if we over correct once again..ala Bush-Obama..

  8. Congress has to go meaning the Dems need to take it back, senate too before the problem child resigns due to a deluge of temper tantrums from not having his way. Pence would be worse, they both need to go.

  9. Medicare for all and 15 dollar minimum wage are both popular policy proposals. What are his positions that you think are too extreme?

“On Thursday, Reuters-Ipsos released a poll that shows (what I believe to be) an unprecedented level of support for Medicare for All, the American left’s brand-name for a single-payer, national health-insurance plan. The survey found a whopping 70 percent support for the proposal, with 84.5 percent of Democrats — and 51 percent of Republicans — voicing their approval.”

  11. Damn..Who were you talking about..Trump, Sanders, Gillum..who?
Just who will be paying for all this free sh** anyway..;)

  12. The taxpayer. Free college tuition could be funded pretty easily for example. It costs about 80 billion to fund tuition free state colleges. We literally just give banks 80 billion dollars every year to participate in programs they’re already required to do by law, not to mention the 80 billion dollar increase in military spending. It’s clear the money is there to pay for it the political will is just not there. As for Medicare for all, it’s far more expensive and would involve a lot of new taxes and a restructuring of the system. But ultimately as many studies have shown (including the most recent Koch brothers study) switching to a Medicare for all system would be either slightly cheaper or about the same as Americans are currently paying in a private system. This is also the most unfavorable study. Many studies done by more centrist think tanks have found it could save anywhere from 5-10 trillion dollars for the average American over the next decade. Instead of paying a premium or a high deductible you would pay a tax. Additionally this would free up business as they wouldn’t have to deal with complicated healthcare policies and regulations anymore. Once again the money is there just not the political will.

  13. Sounds good on the surface, but I don't think it would ever work..Too much graft and greedy people imo.

That list above should serve to show the Trumpettes just what their hero is all about..I still prefer the political middle to all the other left and right BS.

  14. My point is that if the Dems want to put people in office..they should not put in extreme people..
Remember..the Right votes too..(as Clinton found out when many dems refused to vote)

  15. What policy proposals do you think Dems should run on? What do you consider the middle? Like what concrete policy changes should Dems offer before the midterms?

  16. Depends on where your views are..it's all relative.
As far as what to run on..Start with REAL health care..not either of the former..stop promoting socialist policies (We all don't live in NY TG)..Real Tax reform..this would do for a start imo.

I was amazed that the Supreme Court upheld the "Punishment Tax" for not buying insurance..

As for SS..I paid in more than my fair share, and expect to get something back..That's NOT Socialism IMO..

  17. You gotta be more specific I still don’t know what that means. What does real healthcare mean? What policies would you enact to make sure people get real healthcare? What type of tax reform would you like to see? Lower rates for low/middle income individuals?

  18. REAL healthcare means Healthcare that is AFFORDABLE for all, even if it has to be government supplemented (no..I am NOT a socialist)..REAL medicine at a REAL cost savings for the public..Put the drug companies in their places..(Tax the shit out of them if they refuse)..I never claimed to have all the answers..
THAT'S WHY I TRY TO ELECT THE BEST POSSIBLE..

I could never vote for Sanders..Nice guy (crooked too) and never vote for someone like El Trumpo..TOO WACKO FOR MY OWN VIEWS.

I had to hold my nose when I pulled the Clinton Lever..no way I was gonna vote for Trump.

  19. It's hard to gauge which political platform is best for the Dems - whether it's a progressive agenda or a moderate agenda. Last election Sanders should have won the Dem nomination because of the millennials and the progressives. But instead we got Clinton - who most voters don't like. So you had groups of voters that didn't vote at all. The millennials were pissed because of Sanders, the black vote was down considerably and voters that hated both candidates who didn't vote.

I don't think that the Republicans figure into the equation in the mid-terms, being that 88% of them support the traitor in chief, and I doubt many Democrats or Independents will vote Republican. It will all be a matter of voter turnout.

  20. I agree..and PREDICT that the turnout for the Mid-terms will be huge..but not for Trump backed candidates (they will Laze out just like the Dems did in 2016)..Too many people are horrified at what they are seeing not to vote..\I sworse last election would be my last vote (getting too old)..but there is way too much at stake now..I do not think I am alone in that regard! (BOOMERS were/are a huge voting block and they will be out in droves..especially with the upcoming attempt to overturn Roe vs Wade..Trump was brilliant in Judging voter discord before (it was so freakin obvious), but can't seem to grasp the self-inflicted damage he has/is doing to both himself and the Rep. Party.
