My husband was abused by a priest when he was an altar boy...he's going to be 50 this year...and, he's still not ok... Years of therapy, introspection, support from friends, and from me has only been of marginal help... He struggles with this every fucking day of his life. The Catholic Church aided and abeted known pedophiles...it goes all the way to the Pope's most loyal advisor! I guess secrets are impossible things to keep forever... Peace,
Just goes to show what a joke the Catholic church is. I'm glad that it is nearing an end. You know there's a problem when you say the word "priest" and the first word people think of is "child molester."
Its really funny to me about all that is going on now. I was raised a Catholic and now that I'm grown I am Atheist. It has nothing to do with priest but with the religion being against birth control but its O.K. to drink alcohol. BOY DOES THAT MIX OR WHAT? there are many other things but the main one is that I feel nobody has the right to judge me and I do not anyone to believe in but myself for I am the only one that can better myself. Well let me get back on the subject. If the Catholic church would allow priests to get a little bootie instead of really pushing the celebacy thing, they might not get so many messed up priests.

Out of every organized religion, Christianity has resulted in the most athiests. Probably because it's the easiest one to see through. Preists molesting kids, people just turning their backs? THAT is f-ed up. Another reason why organized religion sucks
