To splint it just tape a Popsicle stick or pencil to the branch, it will mend itself. But lay off the nutes a little or fix your PH.. your lower leafs are burnt And to answer your question regarding smell.. different strains smell more potent than others. If you pinch the bud with your fingers and then smell it you'll be able to get a better whiff of it. Make sure to do a correct dry and cure in order to unlock the full potential of smell and taste.
Nice bud growth man. But as Spaced said either down the nutes alittle or check ph. What are your ingoing and runoff ph numbers?
Ok cool. Yeah the bud growth is awesome for 5 weeks in they are gonna swell like crazy the last 2 weeks. Nice work. Im growin four at the moment under a 400w hps so that's what attracted me to your journal. This grow i got some good beans before i was using bagseed and got 1.5 average per plant in 2 gallons of soil so iv'e got high hopes for this grow. So far im lovin the 400w hps there is a huge difference you notice when switching from cfl's of the same wattege. Well anyway im gonna follow your grow to see what kinda results you get from the 400w, It does suck tho that you had to switch the broken hps for the mh you should try to get a replacment hps as soon as you can cause i really do believe it's gonna affect your final yield, Hopefully not to much tho...Good luck man
