This might be the dumbest question posted this year but how do you use your Blue Lab PH Pen? Here's my deal. When I'm just using plain ole tap water with no nutes to feed my seedlings, I dip my pen into the water and the pen will read whatever, let's just say 7.8PH. I'll leave it in there for 20 seconds and it will maintain it's reading. But when I start stirring the water OR swishing the pen slowly in the water the reading changes. And it will keep changing until I stop the motion with the pen. What is going on here? Should i be taking my reading from what the pen says after dipping it in the water for 20 or 30 seconds and not swishing it around? Or should I be stirring the water until the reading stops and THAT's the final PH? I don't get it. Thanks!
All digital PH testers probes. bulb needs to be stored in a wet towel and if its important calibrated daily. I use the drops ..
Yes I move mine around until it stops and gives a reading, can take 20 to 30 seconds. That's normal for it.
i always wait 30 min until i feed running coco , then you know for sure what stabilized ph and ppm is, then again i made my bucket first thing in morning and feed out of same bucket all day, three times a day.
