How do you pack a bowl?

man, i was ganna be a hoe and not answer you like all the rest but, imma be real with ya. Your in the wrong section. your askin n00b questions in a experienced toka zone. to pack a bowl is to break up your herb and put it in a piece (preferrably glass)


edit: if its broken up it cherries and stays lit unless you snuff it with a coin or something

So any way the way you pack a bowl(or the best method ive found) is u take your bowl, bong slide, grav cap, lung, waterfall or what have you .

then take a bud that is a little bigger then the whole in the bowl and place it to block that hole. then rip up your weed and place it on top. after its cashed,beat or w/e your slang is for ash, put the lighter to it and suck in real hard to get the ash to get sucked in to rez up your peice and speed up colour changing.

 

i usually just take a bud and stick it in the grinder, then turn it real quick one way, then back. real quick, so it's not fine, just broken into like little balls. then pull the seeds and stems out, and pack away.

 

you should bust it up first. as this equals more surface area

 

the finer you break/grind it up the hit becomes that much stronger but the bowl doesn't last as long. that being said, i like it finely ground. fewer hits get me high.

 

Heres how i pack a bowl, i take a little nugget of weed a little bigger than the hole, so it sort of plugs it, then i grind some weed up so that its still a decent sizeand put that in about 3/4 the way up, then i fill the rest of the bowl with weed thats broken up so small its like a powder. The powder weed will light completly and cherry imediatly, and thisll help the bigger chunks below it cherry up.

I just pop it in my wooden sweetleaf, give a twist or two and load it up sans seeds and stemmies.

I wish I had my camera so I could post a pic of the joint I just rolled. its three papers long and FAT as FUCK.

 

When you rip a bowl there is no reason to light it again just wait until it cherries and pull it until it all rips through.

 

I despise loading bowls with shake if I don't have a small bud placed near the bowl, acting almost like a plug.

I put the small nug at the bottom, then throw shake to as far up as I need it, the bud prevents any shake from being sucked into my mouth (Irritating..Echh).

If I have any kief I throw it on top.

Some people put hash on top but, if I have hash, I smoke it by itself. I'm a standalone hash smoker.

i'll just hit a chunk of hash on the screen and lit it .

 

If you want it to stay cherried, I suggest getting a grinder. You can get little plastic ones for about 5 bucks in most headshops. Rip a small piece of bud off and use it to cover atleast half of the hole in the bottom of the bowl. This will act like a screen. Grind up the rest of the herb in the grinder. The finer you grind it, the better it will cherry. But it will also burn alot faster.
