I dont like leaving mine on for sum reason and i dont like waiting for it to boot up so i put it on standby. alot of people i know leave it on or boot it up every time they go on. what do you do?
its actually bad for your computer to restart it or turn it off all alot. i leave mine on for probably about a week at a time before i restart it, or usually as long as i can untill my internet acts funny and i have to restart everything.
I leave it on 24/7. I'll reboot when a program demands it or if it starts acting wonky. I use mine as a file server though, so I just got in the habit of leaving it on all the time. Needless to say, security is a huge issue for me.
I only restart my computer overnight if it's really slow. Other than that, I leave it on all the time with password protected. (What can you say? I'm paranoid about people getting on my computer)
Mine stays on for days at a time, but if I know I wont be using it for a couple days Ill shut it down.
