How do you insert images off a computer? I took some pictures of my pipes and stuff for the city. Anyway if you would get back to me I would appriciate it
Go to google and search "Free Image Hosting" and once you find a site, browse your comp for the pictures and when you do, the site will give you a URL to your pic, you take that URL and enter it in the box that comes up when you try and insert a picture on a GC post.
Whether you create a thread or Reply to a thread you can upload your pictures in your post. Once you create or reply, scroll down under the text box. You'll see other sections. Go to the next section: Additional Options. Click Manage Attachments. Once the pop up comes up you can add 5 pictures all at once from your computer. You can put 5 per post you make. Once you add the pictures then click Upload. Wait for it to upload. Once that is done it will tell you it's done - close the little window. - Then click Submit (or Submit Reply). You're post will have the little thumbnails people can click on to enlarge... Or you could put pictures in your gallery and reference you're gallery when you post/reply in the thread. (hey guys i just got a new piece...look in my gallery...) To get to your gallery; Click on Photo Gallery in the menu bar above the thread you're in. It's on the line that says (User CP, FAQ, Photo Gallery, Calendar, New Posts....). Once in the Photo Gallery, under the same menu bar look for "My Gallery · Album Admin · My Favorites" then look to the right on that line to see "Home · Search · Profile · Upload Photos". Click upload photos and it will work like you were posting a picture in a thread. You can put a description as well. Its pretty easy to figure out. Let us know if you need more help.
