once bobs plants have got to a good height in his micro grow how dose he going about stopping them from growing when flowering ??
Generally speaking an un-trained plant with grow 3 times as high after you switch to flowering cycle you can always top fim and lst to promote lower bushier growth.I found this extremely informative although I haven't had a chance to try it yet.
@ : & If you simply tie the plant down when It has 3-4 serrated leaf sets ... This keeps the canopy even ( spreading light equally across the plant ) You can tie It down by making hole In your pot to feed the string / speaker wire Or you can fit a screw Into the pot to tie the a knot round , you don't want to tie a knot round the main stem of the plant - As this will get bigger & thicker everyday ( tying a knot could suffocate the stem ) So make a hole > Loop some speaker wire , Or string If you haven't got any wire with a rubber coating (Wire wont damage the stem ) I don't know why some people suggest chopping anything of the plant before tying It down , Why would you top the plant before tying It down I don't see the point ? If I was you , I would start tying It down when you think Its big enough ( 4-5 serrated leaf sets ) < Don't top It first because It's pretty much pointless, If you tie the plant down then top It , The plant Will of bushed out ( new growth branched out ) - You might not even need to top It ... To keep a plant small - stop It growing towards the light, By bending the top of the plant down to the edge of your pot , keep doing this Until you see pistils developing On the top's of the plants ... if you top twice your plant will be nice a proportional and have 4 mains(colas) its all about personal preference i guess..
