How do you find an address of a house?

  1. There's this company in my city that buys abandoned houses, and if they buy a house that you refer them to they give you a thousand dollers. And I could really use a thousand dollers right now. I found an abandoned house, but it doesn't have a house number on it, and there aren't any buildings next door to it. There are buildings down the street from it, but there aren't any other houses nearby. I told the people were the house was located, but they said they need an exact address to find the owners. So is there any way to find the address or am I just fucked on this one?

  2. In UK we have the Land Registry - theres usually one in most areas - you can check there for numbers, property boundaries, owners etc.

  3. Try town hall

I worked for the Massachusetts State House one year, and the different towns keep records of addresses and names. It would obviously help to find the street name, the closest address (even if it's far away, just for reference) and try to find it on a map
