  1. How do i apply for one? I'm 18. what do i have to do?
     
  2. In California, you visit a doctor who has been approved by the CA medical board to issue recommendations.

    Some are doctors like the one you visit for checkups. More, are cannabis-rec only doctors, somewhat less "legitimate", but as long as you talk to a CA certified doctor and he signs the paper, you have a legal recommendation for cannabis.

    Most recs are issued for 1 year and cost you a certain amount of money for the visit and rec. After the 1 year you usually return, to have a checkup on your status and get a renewal if needed.

    There are many directories of these doctors online. A simple google search with your city should yield results.

    Otherwise I'll recommed Medicann which seems to be all across california with consistently good doctors.
