How do u make weed sweets

  3. Here's the easiest thing to do.
    1. Decarb 8 g herb @ 240 F for 40 min, or better yet use Ardent Lift/Nova/FX.
    2. Grind to fine powder.
    3. Combine herb, an equal amount of lecithin, and the recipe oil.
    4. Infuse mixture @ 220 F for 20-40 min. 40 min is slightly sleepier than 20 min.
    5. Weigh out 30 equal cookies, and finish the recipe.

    I've made thousands of these using both home recipes and box mixes.
    They work just as well as anything else made from the same amount of original herb, including cannacaps, oils, tinctures, FECO, RSO.

    Assuming good 15% thc herb,
    TotalTHC = (0.15 g THC / 1 g Herb)*(8000 mg Herb) = 1200 mg THC
    1 Cookie = (1200 mg THC)/30 = 40 mg THC

    Brownies can be made the same way, but I like to make them in a thin sheet, and bake them like cookies to avoid too much heat for too long.
    Oil "protects" thc to some extent, but any additional heat will degrade THC at least slightly.

    My low tolerance friends eat 1/4 cookie.

    The cookies can be made any strength by using different amounts of herb.
    Making strained butter/oil first can lose 20-70% of the potency.

    If you are skeptical, as you should be, then you can do almost the same thing to infuse oil for caps, or nut butter for spreads, using the first 4 steps above.
    Even 1/2 gram (~75 mg THC) infused into a bit of nut butter will convince you that this works very well.
    Such a thing is similar to firecrackers.

  5. Thanks for the reply i havnt made cookies yet will give that a go, am looking to learn sweets, chocolate, and ice cream, and lots others

    Here ya go, my go to when creating butter:
    1. Start with 1 oz of cannabis (1 oz per pound of butter)
    2. Place cannabis on pan in oven on 240 degrees for 45 min
    3. Take out the cannabis and place in a pot on the stove and lightly boil for 3-4 hours in a mixture of butter and water.
    4. Take it off the heat after the 3-4 hour mark, strain and let cooldown in the fridge overnight or the freezer
    5. Take it out the chiller, and boom. your butter will be nice and solid floating on top of the water. The chlorophyll will hopefully be all left in the water and not the butter.
    6. If there is chlorophyll in the butter still, you can mix with water again and heat up/cooldown again to filter it.

    You can store it in the freezer/fridge.
     
  7. You can use the same general strategy to make brownies or infused nut spreads.
     
  8. You can repeat my process with any cooking oil but you need to use a baster to suck it up from the top of the water.
     
  9. Many of us here use BadKats Edible oil recipe as it's fast, easy and wickedly potent. Make the basic oil then blend it into the oil of your sweet thang.

    Decarb 240 F for 40 minutes uncovered

    5 grams of Kief or Hash or Powdered Buds
    1 tablespoon Coconut oil
    1/2 teaspoon Lecithin
    Combine
    Heat 220 F for 20 minutes
    Freeze (optional)
    Heat 220 F for 20 minutes (optional)
    Done

    Buds 1 drop = 1mg
    Kief-Hash 1 drop = 3mg

    Full tablespoon Buds = 750mg
    Kief-Hash = 2500mg

  11. Dark chocolate from scratch!

    I just made this recipe and it couldn’t be easier! I had been infusing coconut oil and then just getting high % cacao chocolate and combing over low heat.

    This is actually easier and you are making your own chocolate from scratch.

    Cocoa or Cacao butter ( I got a pound on Amazon)
    Unsweetened cocoa powder ( I got Walmart brand )
    Sweetener of your choice ( I use pure maple syrup )

    That’s it! You can just add decarbed weed that I ground to dust. I infused the cacao butter and then put it in with the ground weed that was in the infusion. That can be done on a double boiler on low for an hour.

    Mixed the lumps out from the powder. Did it on a coffee warmer for low heat and just filled my molds. It is stable to be kept out of the fridge but melt upon touch. Delicious
