How do my plants look?

I just switched my plants into 12/12 a couple of days ago to determine sex. plants are 2 months old. Also today I noticed half a leaf missing all a sudden then I saw this bug. Did this bug do the damage? I previously had a gnat problem but they are now gone. Also, some of my leaves are twisted ib a few plants but usually towards a window or my light. I was also just dealing with nute burn and soil issues so I scraped the sand off I had on the top of my soil and I'm using regular filtered water for the next week or so. My soil is just a bunch of potting soils combined from home depot combined with 10% perlite, and 10& coco coir. plants are about 2ft-3ft tall. Currently growing in 2-gallon pots and plan to transplant in 3 weeks to 5-gallon pots after i veg again when i kill off the males.
