How do they run if it's not powered by a computer power supply?
Easy! There is actually a few ways. Any old cell phone chargers? Cut the wires and splice them together. Or you can but the adaptor as well It will be low voltage the fans should have info on what wattage and how many volts you should be using. I have a pc box for clones that I've been using for years using old chargers and no issues what so ever.
The above or you get a dc power supply matching what you need splice it in and they work. For electronics AC power comes to the house and everything transforms it to DC current.
I currently have two of these fans in my veg box and they are very low power but work fine for small growboxes. As above just cut an old phone charger connector off then link the two wires to the fan making sure you fit them correctly and don't leave the bare wires without the very least some electrical tape. Or u may find your growroom in flames if the bare wires touch an unwanted object. I could always take some pics step by step to show you and whoever else might need this info.
