how do i know what size female piece and male piece to get for my bong?

    i recently acquired a friends old bong but he broke the female and the bowl slide. so i just have the bong. and i need to know what size to buy from headshop.

    how do i figure out what size i need?

    Edit:never had a bong that wasn't glass on glass so I can't help you, would if I could though.
    Edit #2: oh wait I can help, just clean it an bring it into the lhs. They'll give you a proper stem and bowl

    Most of the those type of downstems are the same size

    Das a grommet mostly the same size take it to the headshop

    Take it with you and ask them..

    9mm thats the standard size for all grommet pieces pretty much

    You don't need to take the whole bong, just remove the grommet and take that along. The stem should be a snug fit in the grommet. I think THCt is correct and they are all pretty much the same size.
