I eradicated a rather heavy spider mite infestation with "no pest strips". 2 per tent placed in front of fans blowing from bottom to top. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
if your not in full flower try Spinosad ,,it is organic ( so it says) ...but it does get rid of mites,,mac,
Well I guess that's one way to get rid of them? Why even make a thread titled how to get rid of mites if you just pulled your plants
Lost coast plant therapy will annihilate them instantly and not make you fail testing or half assed results, don't care if they're two spotted. Predators only in flower for prevention. it is too expensive to buy all those bugs to wait for the to devour everything compared to a few cents of non toxic spray in veg.
So you poisoned yourself, your plants, and possibly other people cause you couldn't find a better spray, wonderful. No wonder they are being obnoxious with lab testing requirements and trying to over regulate.
If not carefully used, the active ingredient DDVP or dichlorvos can cause significant illness to humans as noted by a CDC report on pest-strips.
stop using that it's bad for you and if you ever grow and sold in the market you would fail testing. use lost coast plant therapy and sulfur for all pests above the root zone (some on the top layer might even get bothered).
Why do you say it’s bad? I don’t use it during flowering. I read the instructions... people been using it since the 50’s Carbaryl General Fact Sheet
People spray Roundup still, but they're spraying Leukemia into their air and any runoff. I'm not just saying it's bad. If you test positive for it you can't sell your weed in any legal state. Is Sevin dust harmful to humans? It is not a “natural” or “organic” garden chemical. It is dangerous. It is toxic. Eating food treated with Sevin Dust or Sevin liquid will cause low levels of poisoning (see above) and in higher doses *will* cause damage and illness to the human body. Why use any of that when there are safe and even more effective options. Even if I didn't dust buds with that crap I'd be upset if that got absorbed into environment or got stuck on some fans which translated into the final product. Chlorpyrifos was legal forever in California too, until recently they banned it cause it's fucking people up, especially children.
I have some bad news for you. The majority of food producers in the us favor the use of Carbaryl(That’s sevin dust) you’ve probably eaten plants treated by it. If you have ever had head lice and used Carylderm shampoo, you’ve used it in your hair. If you have eaten meat in the us, again... chances are farmers have dusted their animals with it to get rid of the pests on their livestock. You’re getting exposed to it on a daily basis. And I argue on plants it is no less dangerous than using neem oil. Also- I think your mistaken because Carbaryl (sevin) should be still legal in California. It’s the dusting drift problem along with the toxicity to bees that outlawed it most likely if you can’t get it in Cali.
Carbaryl is not chlorpyrifos. Chlorpyrifos is scheduled to be banned. I was bringing it up as an example of such since you thought that people have been using it for decades was reason enough alone to comfortably use a chemical. EU to Ban Chlorpyrifos Pesticide Starting in February Ban of Chlorpyrifos Products Continues to Expand | AgNet West Read this : The Wild West of Marijuana Pesticides especially with concentrates, if you use Sevin, your product is poisonous. You have to remember this an oily plant that tries absorbing everything and will end up getting smoked.
