I'm trying to figure out if my electric meter is analog or digital. Thing is I can't find it. There is a box outside but it's screwed shut so I am guessing that must be it. Is there any way to tell analog vs digital from the exterior?
If you have a digital meter it would be on the outside of the house & you would be able to see it it's usually round and has the #'s on the screen. I'm guessing most likely you have analog, I'm not sure how you would go about finding that sorry.

No problem at all. All depends on the area you live in really & if it's a newer/older house. If your in a duplex its most likely shared. And if the duplex's are newer then its most likely digital meter.
