How Do I Cool My 100 Cubic Feet Grow Room?

Discussion in 'Grow Room Design/Setup' started by KruiserIV, May 10, 2011.

  1. Hello,

I recently built a fairly nice, two room grow space. The idea was to seal it and run CO2. However, my temps are around 95F when it is sealed and lights are on. So I have to leave it open almost all day in order to keep the temps around 80F.

My question is this: what is the best way to cool my space and keep the temp constant?

The area is 100 Cubic feet and I'm not looking to spend an insane amount of money.

    Any suggestions?

  2. A/C unit...
you can get a cheap one off Craigslist..

    Are you running sealed hoods???

  3. Thanks JJ.

I'm using T5s up top in my Clone/mother chamber and LEDs in my flower chamber..

Any suggestions on the type of A/C? Size, BTU?

  4. The rule of thumb is 4,000BTU per every non-aircooled 1000w light.

    Simon
