Are you trying to harvest the resin? If so, I would make hairline cracks with a glass cutting tool, then tap it with a rock hammer or similar to gently break along the seam. If you don't care about the resin, soak it in a bowl of the highest % isopropyl you can find for a day. Give is a good shake every few hours.
I dont know what the fuck is wrong with people but if you wamt to get resin out of a pipe bend a bobby pin, remove the plastic at the end, and scrape the damn pipe out and smoke that shit. Simple.
