http://i.imgur.com/fyyj2Yv.jpg My friend got a new pipe. Is ISO alcohol okay to clean this? Or how else should it be cleaned?
My buddy bought one of those once- not a very good pipe for bud, and it was realllly hard to clean. Id think iso would be fine
I wouldn't use any kind of chemicals to clean wood. It can soak into the grain and essentially ruin the pipe. Try just using pipe cleaners. If you can get the ones with hard bristles it would probably help. I know zen makes a pretty good pipe cleaner, but I'm sure there are several companies that are putting them out. Just check your local head shop.
Cheap gin, vodka, or whiskey is used by tobacco users of wood pipes since it does not leave residues and works great on the tar.
pretty sure iso will work just don't use it for 24 hrs and it should be fine since alcohol evaporates very quickly
