  1. How did your parents find out you smoke? Or would you ever tell them?

  4. Sometimes even as an adult people have anxiety about telling their parents. My parents always knew I got high back in the day. I haven’t smoked in 6 years, I’m actually waiting on med card right now and then I’ll be back at it. Right now I’m not telling anyone, including my parents he my brother that I’m close to. It’s no ones business but me and my wife.

  5. Both my parents were anti weed, that is until one alcohol filled night i got them high. They gave up alcohol and never looked back.

  10. The on going problem of the, cannabis closet people, is that they think it will effect how people think about them.
Unfortunately, it shows a lack of belief in the drug. All advocates of medical cannabis should SHOUT from the HIGHEST hill! love your meds and spread the good word amongst people who would benefit (All my docs and specialists) Think yourself lucky to get a card. Here in uk its a big fight atm. Be loud and proud, people will respect you more for it.

  11. God Bless Weed.

  13. I was 14 going on 15 (???) My dad was still a cop. Just he and I lived together. One night some big burly biker look'n dude came over to the house. He pulled up in a 63 Impala lowrider. Chrome and primer. I knew he was a cop because he spoke the language.
He fed me a roll of beans while he sat across from my dad at the desk and rolled a joint. The three of us sat there and smoked. They finished their coded conversation and he left. About an hour and a half total.
    So much for secrets, hey.

  14. I never said I did. Not anywhere in my post. However I do have children, and a position in my community that would greatly put me at odds with much of the membership if anyone were to know. Therefore I keep it quite from anyone, including my parents. People gossip, even your parents. Your mom tells your brother, he tells your cousin, he tells his mom and now all of a sudden people all over know.

Not a good thing when you are actively involved in the 2A community and competitions relating to it.

Of course, understanding things like this involve maturity and your reply to me didn’t show much of it.

  15. I can’t do that. Has nothing to do with being ashamed. It has to do with legal ramifications.

  17. Seriously, all you can do is adapt as well as you can and hope the world wakes up to Cannabis.

  18. Mine didn't care I always used to get high with my dad before he passed away and my mom didn't smoke but she wasn't against it either.

  19. I'd LOVE to speak out loud, and believe me, i speak as much as i can, but i love my freedom aswell and dont wanna go behind bars by just doing something to my own body on my own terms doing no harm to anyone else or even being anyones elses annoyance or anything :)

  20. My mom would have burst into tears and my dad would have given me the cold shoulder for 10 years or so.
