So, I applied for my AZ medical marijuana card this past Thursday and they said it will take up to 10 business days to receive it in the mail. Until then, all I can do is live vicariously through you guys. haha. I've been going to local head shops to scout potential tools, as well, and that's not exactly helping matters. Alas. For those of you who had to wait for your MMJ card in the mail, how did you make time go by faster??
Not an MMJ patient but I would just browse GC and play video games. Out of curiosity, what clinic did you go to to get your card? If you don't want to disclose that, I'll understand.
I'll answer it somewhat arbitrarily. haha. If they didn't have a medical record, I probably wouldn't care, but for security reasons, you know...haha. There's two great places in town that I've talked to a few times both of them were very knowledgeable. One of them was AZ Medical Marijuana Doctor and the other was Green Cross. Both were great and I'd recommend them to anybody.
I've heard great things about both places, Green Cross especially. Glad it worked out for you. The process is fairly simple, right? Good clinics should fill out the paperwork for you, though some add a surcharge for it.
Yeah, the process is super easy. The hardest part is getting your medical records from your primary care physician. Once they fill out the paperwork, you don't need to pay the extra charge for them to submit it for you. It's super easy. If you can scan and upload something, save yourself the money for your first gram and just pay for the appointement. As long as you fill everything out on the paperwork that they give you verbatim, you're good.
Mine was much easier in Cali. I had to fill out two pages of paper and wait for about 5 minutes. Then talk to a doctor that was no younger than 80 years old(who took my blood pressure and asked if I had used marijuana before and if it has helped me). Then he signed a paper and I walked out. No medical records or anything.
I used to be for about 6 years. Still have lots of friends there, and like to keep up with their MMJ industry
Went in 3/11, got email for receipt on 3/15, another email on 3/21 saying it's been shipped, it's too long of a process imo. I'm not really excited about the card anymore cause of the wait time. Reup on tree for the wait, it'll take 2 weeks or more!
