  1. online people become very belligerent and tend to let all of their emotions come out.

im just speaking from my experiences though

  2. because were safe to say how we feel without getting our asses kicked.

  3. Sad, but true. It just shows how much of a problem racism still is in the world today. You dont see that many people walking up and down the streets with white masks over their heads, yet people say what they truely feel online where they feel like no one will judge them because no one knows who they are. There is much more racism in the world than we know about. A lot of people dont even realize they're racists. "i have no problem with black people or asian people or muslims" yet they always have a distrust for these people, or allow sterio types to dictate their impressions on a person without even knowing them.

  4. closet racists......fuck em

there will always be racist and prejudice ppl in this world. i am disgusted by it but so used to it. but it has taught me so much. i try my best not to judge anyone at ALL. i made a promise that i would like every1 in this world until i got to know them. if they were cool, then i would sitll like em. if not, then i just wouldnt.. no prejudice anywhere in that. sry im ramblin again im high as hell

  5. you dont have to like anyone. I hate alot of people I know. but i respect them. untill they disrespect me. i dunno, humans piss me off.

  6. Exactly

People don't really have to answer up for the way they act while on here (internet). If they did, you wouldn't see nowhere near the ammount of disrespect as what you do.

  7. The majority of people probably aren't racist- even on-line. I guess it does exist to a certain degree and there are prob more blatant racists on line than in the real world because of the resasons above.

I dunno... I guess it's human nature to focus on things that we don't want to see everywhere in the world- when you watch the news how often do you see headlines about how great the world is.

Then again my own perceptions could be coloured (no pun intended) by the fact that I'm generally a humanist- I don't believe that humans have an intrinsic tendency towards such things as racism. I like to believe that we're all alright, deep down. As such maybe I don't focus on the bad things as much...

Gee- it's really too early to be talking about this...

  8. Its easy for some keyboard cowboy to hide behind a monitor and say the things they'd never get to say in real life. I agree w/ ya switch. I think its a desperate search for attention,.. be it positive or negative.

  9. I agree with switch that people are generally good when it comes down to it, we all show love and compassion to those we feel for... the problem arises due to prejudice arising from ignorance, people judging people for their choices and actions when we should just see the person underneath

as for those with racist views, they are flawed and ignorant themselves, though this does not make them intrinsically bad...

  10. racisms still alive they just be counseling it

  11. The internet is a gateway for a lot of things, racism, sexism, rapism..

A lot of things happen on the internet, because people can say shit without cosequences.

  12. i dont even think its their real emotions.... just them trying to sound cool and tough.

  13. the anonymity of message boards/the internet allows all those assholes to show themselves. It's normally little bitches that do it too, people who express their discontent in excess online because they're too afraid to act like that in real =/

  14. Racism is overrated.

  15. Anonymity. Psychologically most humans are less afraid of hurting others, etc if they remain anonymous...

  16. plz elaborate:confused:
