How come street prices haven't inflated since like, the early to mid nineties?

Well, medical dispensaries are charging anywhere from $40-$65 an eighth for mids-super dank. I've heard from other people an eight over $50-$55 was unheard of 5-10 years ago.

 

what inflation? its grown everywhere... with no tax!

 

I don't understand these prices.. I get an 1/8th of some really fucking good mids for 10 bucks.

been that way since i've been smoking which is several years.


don't really know why prices haven't risen, i guess it's really what the growers are charging that sets the whole price structure....then again i know people who sell 60/eighth if they get the same dank for 100/oz or 300/oz. it's all part of the game i guess

 

is is illegal therefore it doesent fall under the regular "inflation" business. it depends on how much the dealer had to pay and thankfully they havent been too bad about overchargin here. but if i have to pay anything over 60 for an eigth im goin to growin.

well ive noticed that an Ounce has gone form 180 down to 150 standard since I started buying, but then, I was only 14 buying the 180$ ounces, its very likely the dealer was just ripping me off becuase he could.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. It definitely has. Economics and the dollar affect every business, even the illegal ones...Notice how prices vary depending on location. There's a reason, certain areas are weed hot spots, and some areas are not. There's a lot of factors involved which determine what the consumer eventually pays...cost of electricity equipment ferts soil hydro, availability of seeds, genetics, risk, supply and demand etc...

 

Still failiing to udnerstand all these high prices. An 8 gram 1/4th of Endo here is like 40 bucks. K-Town is about 85 a 1/4, and Purple Kush is between 60-100 for 1/4, depending on the dealer.

 

prices did drop a little in some areas...10yrs ago 8ths were $60, now they are $45...depending on the quality of course.

Huh? Whenever I talk prices with my Dad he goes at what we pay for herb nowadays.

Paying more than $65 for a 1/4 is nearly unheard of to him.

 

also alot more bud is mass grown in the west wilderness,the mexican cartels grow a whole lot more in the states so they dont have to fuk wit tha border and on top of that they dont have to brick it up to shrink the size for smuggling so instead of it looking like azz and all bricky now its all fluffy and fresher and went from schwagg to mids lol and they dont dump coca cola on it to brick it ,on top of that it isnt like gasoline in the sense we cant easily make our own which with pot if people get greedy and up prices dramatically ,people will just grow there own and they will lose money by it.

 

i think prices have stayed high. especially for weights.
