you can't.. don't do it unless ur a mushroom expert with many years of experiance.. unless u want a good chance of ending up in the hospital... something tells me your not an expert on mushrooms edit: when i mean mushroom expert i mean legit mushrooms...
i know what you mean dude, but ive heard of ppl going "shrooming" where they just go out and look for shrooms. and i heard that if you found the right kind of mushroom it will "bruise" blue when you touch it. or something, but i guess i will just not be cheap and buy some instead.
you need to be VERY experienced in it, there are mushrooms that look EXACTLY like shrooms that will kill you
Learn some basics about mushrooms and try identifying yourself. But before eating make sure to post some pics and information on shroomery, they're very helpful.
heh, "VERY experienced" eh? some of the ppl i know dont know shit about it and they pick every year, maybe its an inherrent scottish trait to know what mushies are safe
Yes, be very careful because many poisonous ones that can kill you look very smiliar to the ones containing psilocin/psilocybin. Chances are the ones that grow in your yard are not active and I would not eat them anyways. Head over to the shroomery.. they will be more than willing to help you identify
I ate some "wrong" mushrooms one time. I tripped hard for a couple of days. when I say tripped, I really mean whent crazy. Its not fun to eat the wrong mushrooms.

That is not true, not all halucenagetic mushrooms will bruise blue. Do not use that as a sole purpose of identifying.
