How can i keep my plants short?

    I have a few sativas and indicas growing and need to keep them short. They are 45 days from seed and my one sativa is 2 1/2 feet tall. I've already topped them all once. The indicas are fine so are at their height but how can i keep the sativas short? Also when will they start flowering?
