HOW can I improve my tolerance for the herb??

  1. I've been tokin a little while now, but I was just wondering if there is anything else out there that really helps you guys to improve your tolerance for weed so that you dont have to smoke a ton to feel the same effects...??

    I've tried just going a week or so without tokin, and of course that works, but I was just wanting to know if there are any other methods that you could use to more rapidly improve your body's tolerance for mary jane (besides obvious things like abstinance, exercise, etc)?? :hello:
     

  2. Isn't tolerance suppose to be high after you smoke alot...then you dont get as high...so you dont want a tolerance an the only way to bring that down is quit smokin for a bit... :D :smoke:
     
  3. Quit smoking for a week and drink a shitload of water and take Niacin pills. Trust me, just quitting for a week and drinking plenty of water should do it.
     
  4. What you really want is a low tolerance, my friend, The higher your tolerance the more you need to smoke. Tolerance cam be kept low by quitting for a bit, drinking alot oof water, exercise, or smoke less frequently. try smoking everyother day or a couple times a week to keep your tolerance low.
     
  5. the only wy to lower tolerance is to abstain for a while.. and all of you saying to drink water.. that wont do shit...
     
  6. Actually... I believe that the reason your tolerance is lowered when you don't smoke, is due to the time you give your body to flush toxins and chemicals from your body... so drinking water WOULD aid in lowering tolerance due to it's aid in flushing out your system.
     
  7. Yeah, drinking water would help. It helps flush things out of your system quicker. How in the hell could you not know that? It's common sense. Lol

  9. Well considering pot triggers certain receptors they may also need a rest for full affects to return...

    It doesn't harm them in fact it helps them but when you start laying it on stone after stone your body just don't accept it anymore. Till those receptors get back to a somewhat normal state you'll need more to stimulate them the same.

    Thus far it's been found to actually protect nerve endings receptors an other crap that somehow stops deformed cell growth as well as memory loss.

    Sad to see a good plant go to waste just so some drug companies can recoupe costs...
     

  12. actually, it doesnt flush your system. its just that you drink alot before home dt's...becasuse if you drink and piss alot, instead of the body secreting toxins out with your piss when you pee it gets more used to pissing out striuahgt water, so the toxins stay in, it does nothing to actually get it out of your system, only excersise and time will flush it out...
     

  13. Yeah... If you FLOOD your system for a DT that will happen, but toxins still come out through your urin regardless... It's just they get severely diluted when you flood your system...

    What he's talking about though is just drinking a lot more water in general, as this does aid in flushing out your system. That's why when you take shitloads of Niacin, and drink a lot of water, it helps with the discomfort... Because the Niacin is making the toxins burn away a lot faster, and they need somewhere to go. If you're well hydrated they go through your piss, if not, they go through your pours and you itch. The burn comes from your body temp rising and your metabolism racing... The itch comes from toxins that are being burned too fast to make it to your urinary tract.

    If you want to lower your tolerance, your best best is to smoke less often, take breaks, exercise, and just generally take care of your body. This will give you quicker recovery time and keep your tolerance from getting to high. I'm sorry, but there's not really a quick fix for tolerance... Ya just gotta stop for a while if ya want it to go down, lol.
