Chronic Pain How can I get a medical marijuana card at affordable prices??

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by Julio Barton, Aug 10, 2023.

  1. Please share your experience if you have obtained an MMJ card affordably through any online platform.

  2. Go through the process for the state you live in.

  3. Check your local weed-related subreddit for doctor/clinic recommendations. I was able to find one that just required a teleconference appointment and $90.

  4. What a load of crap! What other "medicine" "prescribed by a Dr???" do you have to pay ANYTHING for in order to buy it? It's the principal that burns my butt like a flame about yay high. They aint about to dicker over the price with you.

  5. Agreed. Also in the state I live in there are only a small number of diagnoses that qualify for a med card and several of them (e.g. Tourette's, Autism) are neurological disorders that people who have them...are born with them. Even so, the state requires a re-evaluation every few years with the doctor and a new med card license payment by the patient of something like $1,500 each time. You're born with Tourette's and/or Autism. They're lifetime disorders. Re-evaluation for what? It's bullshit.

  7. who is prescribed marijuana?

  8. what state?

    how would that work?
    no one has $1,500.
when someone does and gets a card, they can't find a dispensary because no one has $1,500.:confused_2:

  9. MN. According to their site I can see that effective 7.1.23 they did away with the "enrollment fee". I assume a person has to re-enroll regularly though, even if they have an incurable disorder.

  10. looks like it's legal now.
card would just save you on taxes.

most government programs have a renewal date.

Tens of millions of people across the US alone? Worldwide? A bit of semantics. Perhaps not a prescription "exactly" like the ones we R used to but it is a written order from a "doctor" that enables his pt to obtain "medicine/weed", so not an rx?

  12. Why don't just grow your own cannabis? Dispensaries are a ripoff anyway.

  13. Ripoff? It is a whole lot better than buying shit weed with seeds, like in olden times.;) If U can grow it by all means do, if it's not feasible don't risk jail over it as prices are dropping at dispensaries and the variety is a big plus even if the weed MAY NOT be as good. :confused_2:

  14. If dispesaries are legal wherever you are I would definately look into the laws on growing.

dispensaries R legal here (Florida) growing your own is not. Would it be legal to grow my own IF I payed them mo $ IDK & they aint getting another dime from me! Shaking down disabled seniors "medication" while a fixed income??? F them.

  16. not everyone can grow even if legal,be it living or health situation.

edibles are better for pain, let them make them. ;)

in california,it's $100,$50 if on medicaid for a card.
it would cost me a few hundred just for the ride.

  17. " Not everyone can grow " You don't say. A DUH. ;):D
