How can I get a few seeds out of my bud, but not completely fertilize the female?

  1. Hey GC,

So I have three babies growing right now still vegging, but I was wondering if I get a male, then how can I use him to get just a few seeds, not have the female be completely full of seeds?

  2. You can collect and store male pollen in a bag, then just attach that bag around the branch/bud you wish to fertilize. I have no experience this is just what i remembered on the subject, there are guides within these forum's that explan the process.

  3. You would have to grow that male in a separate place, away from the females. Harvest the pollen and manually apply it to the buds you want seeded.

  4. So if I just apply it to one branch, would that whole branch then become seeds? Or would I just get a few seeds here and there like how I got my bagseed?

  5. Depends on how much pollen you spread around. You could apply it with a small paintbrush or Qtip and pollinate only a few pistils.

  6. Thank you my good sir.
