Thats right guys, im considering becoming a modern day mountain man trekking through the forests up north then migrating south for winter. The reason i want to do this is not really a way of escaping for me, I just want to go back to nature for about a year or so; then returning back to my life and attending college. This has always been something interesting to me, plus it will make me stronger as a person i believe. I was just wondering what you guys thought about this, if any of you have suggestions of a trail or certain stops anywhere in North America then pipe up. I was thinking of starting at Yosemite in 2010 when the snow is starting to melt, then onward through the redwoods, then hopefully Yellowstone, i just dont know where there is to go from there.
