i was going to try an outdoor grow in my backyard so i was wondering how big it would get and if there where ways to keep it from getting too big any help would be appreciated,
Well, sativa's generally grow taller than indica's so if you're buying your seeds, try to get an indica. If you're using bagseed, use a seed out of the bag that glued you to the couch. Other than that, it's hard to control size outside unlike indoor growers who can force their plant to bud. One tried and proven method though is LST. Not only will it keep your plant shorter, but you will get more colas, as well as getting more light to the buds at the bottom of the plant.
