hey guys so i am going to be leaving college and geting home for the summer and i will be building a nice cabinet from stractch although i cant decide on size? about how big should i have the cabinet be for one plant? 2 plants? maybe 3 or 4? at this point i cant decide on how many plants i would like to grow so i figure i would find out what i should be shooting for size wise for each then go from there. I would like to use HPS but i can only forsee heat problems as i cant have a cabinet over 5 feet. So i plan to use 4 100ish watt CFLs that put out 7,000 Lumans each.
My cabinet is a little over 20 inches tall 13.5 inches wide and 9 inches deep. Got 2 fans and 3 cfls. Mind you that my 2 plants are being grown in regular dirt and watered with bottle water and doing fine.
