Hey man! Not sure where you're from, but in America we call them gbs, geebs, or gravity bongs. It's a plastic contraption that gets you super high while conserving weed. I take gbs basically everyday and have been smoking weed almost everyday for the past 3-4 years. I'm 18 years old. I was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin's lymphoma a few weeks ago and started chemo 2 days ago. Hodgkin's lymphoma is an acquired disease, meaning something gave this to me. It's not genetic and I'm not predisposed to it or anything. Something gave it to me. The only thing I can think of is the smoking out of plastic. You do not want this. Please please stop smoking out of plastic it's horrible. Figure out how to make a glass one, it could save your life.

I have smoked gbs and waterfalls with plastic water bottle or Gatorade bottles for close to 3 years and I have also burned it off just the bottle but I mostly used a metal socket as the bowl but I was very used to smoking close to 15 hits a day and most of the time It was less than good quality weed so I'm not sure if that was the culprit but over time I feel I have seen a dramatic decrease in memory both short and long term so just be careful man but stay high

I belive it is safer in the UK to smoke from bottles as cancer research state that dioxins from heating and cooling water bottles is a hoax and is just controversy. Apparently they also use different chemicals to stop it from happening.

But every little bit adds up.

Beyond your control, you will to be exposed to toxic, carcinogenic, hazardous chemicals during your life, period. You should limit your exposure whenever you have the choice. Your habits could be doubling, tripling, or more your lifetime load of harmful chemical exposure. Even if you were in a bubble and had zero contact with the outside world and environment, the easily-avoidable exposure you're enduring just by smoking from bottles, on its own, may not even remain below hazardous limits.

But if nothing else, and if your future health doesn't matter to you, why not have a little pride? Isn't there something inside you that makes you cringe, or at least roll your eyes, just a bit, when you see someone using a soda bottle to smoke out of?

There's really no excuse or justification, what-so-ever, for using a soda bottle bong. If you can afford your smoke, then you can afford a better pipe than a free water bottle.

I'm a bit concerned I may have got something similar, I was using a 2 litre plastic bottle with a metal down stem from another bong and I would use it like 4-5 days a week for months not knowing any better, I was reading about symptoms ( night sweats etc) I haven't gone to a doctor yet but will definitely soon, just wondering what your doctor said and what specifically you were using to smoke from including bowl and stem, appreciate the reply ✌️️
