Heeeyyyy so I may be visiting Virginia in a couple of months and I was wondering how do I find a place to buy at? I tried looking on Google maps and only medical places came up. I thought it was recreational in that state??? Can someone point me in the right direction? Figured you could just walk into a store and buy whatever you wanted???
Only medical sales in Va. Rec sales were supposed to start in 2024 but Gov Youngkin and the newly Republican general assembly are opposed to it, so that's going nowhere. Thank God I can grow here legally. Out of state visitors are pretty much out of luck though.
@Blix is right and you are out of luck in VA. Can you take a road trip to DC while you're here in VA? If you're near Norfolk let me know and we can meet up and smoke. You can be gifted cannabis in VA if you have any friends here. Good luck. I'm a friendly person, lol.
That would be cool and all But to be honest—I gota get my weed lol—I’m a friendly person as well but I pretty much keep to myself and mind my business. I thought it would have been nice to just walk into a store and buy some. I think I would need at least a month lol I have a long list of strains I want to smoke. I thought of staying in Virginia Beach but last time I was there I wasn’t to impressed with the beach part maybe because it was the tourist area?
I live three blocks from the bay and rarely venture to VB but yeah, the tourist part is not so nice. Well, get in contact if you do come to Norfolk/VB/Chesapeake and would like to do a low key, me and you, smoke session.
Well, I live on the Chesapeake Bay at Warwick Ave and Ocean View Avenue and I like our beaches. We don't have as much wave action as the Oceanfront, but the water is fine. There are Community Beaches with lifeguards if you want that, or just miles of unattended beach along Ocean View Ave to Shore Drive. Nothing is real private, as in secluded, but lots of beach is empty except for you. Lots of people don't understand the difference in the Bay and the Ocean but I'm sure you get it.
