one week in, got a clone that was flowering from a coworker. Here's my set up any tips or advice would be great. I got her on 24/0 light schedule been top feeding with a spray bottle few times a day, half dose of nutes flora series lucas formula. Reservoir is clean and I finally see some roots poking out the netpot after a week. It was transplanted from a soil solo cup. Gods gift is the strain and she is under 2 cfl 42 watt 150 equiv. I keep the ph around 5.9 for the spray and the res. Thanks guys let me know what you think so far. First grow ever all diy.

  2. Looks very pale.. Put some superthrive drops in there! Add another set of cfls.. Use a heavy aluminum pan as the fixture to keep cfls apart perfectly an lower them inch or two.. Let the plant have four hours darkness to grow and rest! It will amaze you what happens when its dark!

  3. Oh and here's the outside of my grow box. Air scrubber and ductape light sealed haha

  4. Does anyone have anymore input?

  5. Update if anyone is interested yesterday I added nutrients full strength hope that doesn't bite me later but here's some roots porn. Ppm right now 821 ph 6.0 using filtered water from Walmart think the ppm was like 3 when I tested it. still on 24/0 lights, no noticeable growth other then roots we are now 11 days in. Temp staying around 81-86 humidity around 35-52% still top feeding with a spray bottle for humidity and waiting for more roots.

  6. Might be the light washing the plant out... But looks pretty pale to me, i would back off your nutes alittle try to get her back to lush green!

  7. Also tour ppm is high for that small of a plant... Drop to 400-500 for next couple of weeks if your using ro water...

  8. here are two pics from today, tomorrow I'll have to get some more water and do a change, notice the leaves folding in...

  9. That light is burning and heatin up your plant man! U gotta move it further away
    Your roots lookin good though

  10. alright I raised up the lights a little bit, 1441621460835.jpg

  11. Looks further than it is, I measured about 4-6 inches. Going to reduce nutrients and switch to 18/6 and see how it goes

  12. I'm also going to buy an intake fan today, should it be stronger or weaker than my exhaust fan?

All good suggestions above, enclosed is a pH chart that shows the ranges for different elements. And as far as fans go, I have one 480cfm centrifuge fan for exhaust and one rotating fan inside, if your exhaust fan is strong enough (mine is), it will draw air in through any vent you have, this saves on additional fans, electric ect.

she still looks a bit stressed. Not so much that you are in danger of losing her yet. are your rez temps 81-86? thats high for most strains in dwc. nute ppms are good. may need cal mag with water ppm being low. I would recommend an 18\\6 light schedule

nevwrmind . its all been said lol

  15. haha good lookin out yea she's doing much better ill have pics tomorrow, and yes I took to the 18/6 to save on electricity and heat... I had to raise the bulbs and turn my exhaust up...

  16. So after my water change I snapped this pic. She looks much much better and lots of new growth ill get some more pictures up in a few days.

  17. Looking much better.. And on that note is jt an auto or photoperiod? Cause of its an auto chances are it will herm on u due to that much heat stress. And if its photoperiod you still have to watch her jusy not as closely

  18. as far as I know it's photo period. Yea I'm glad she is lookin much better

  19. Took these today.
