    I've never smoked anything purple before but they've always intrigued me. Are there any major differences?

    YES. A real purple has a purple flavor...kind of like a piece of grape taffy.

    i definitely find that purple strains have more of this same re occuring purplish taste. i have some GDP that was pretty fun to smoke bc of the purple, its always a nice novelty.
