Hot turning to coal and

Hi all, I am wondering if someone can tell me why the smoke I am getting turns to coal when it is burning and the joint continuously goes out? it's not the greatest, compressed, full of seeds and stemmy but all I can afford

I think I read somewhere that it is a fertilizer issue but not sure.

When I am smoking a joint the weed burns but the fire, the lit end, turns the burned pot into a crumbly coal like substance that is partly regular ash but it won't stay lit especially when I get half way through. The pot also will sometimes bloom out the end as it is being lit before it is smokable. I use a hand grinder an have tried all different ways of rolling it, loose, medium tight, fine ground, coarse. It is kinda nasty when I think about it and am wondering if there are too many chemicals being used while it is growing.

 

It is not the way I am rolling, I have been rolling for over 30 yrs, kinda think by now I know what I'm doing lol. I still have friends that prefer my rolling. As I said, I have tried all different ways of rolling, with a roller, though I prefer without, no roller, looser, tighter and the med stuff I get does not do this, just the street stuff I am getting and yes it is always the same source. No I cannot get a different source, at least not for street stuff.

Just wondered if anyone knew why it would do this. Figured it was their growing medium or they are treating their crop with something. The stuff comes super compressed which I hate.

 

LOL thanks there Mr. Harti, if I could I would but I only paid $3.99 at the dollar store for my grinder. Saw the exact same one at the tobacco store down the street 2 days later for like $14.99 and when I told him where I got mine he was pissed at his rep LOL.

Anyway hand grinder is not worth selling, just a little metal sharp toothed thing that fits in the palm of my hand and is meant to look like a silver coin but it works awesome. Yes I know I need a new person but they are family and I can get fronts. Is becoming not worth it though. After an hour I am ready to smoke again.

I do have a connection for good but it is twice the price. I get from them sometimes but not recently obviously lol.

Don't use a bong, I like to smoke on the move and everything is portable and easy to hide lol, one joint and a lighter. Never really seemed to get the same effect with a pipe but I know some people swear by it.

Am planning to get a vaporizer because I have asthma. Plus like a stupid person I started back to smoking cigs last fall.

 

Thanks T, I will check it out. I did read a study that showed that smokers who also use cannabis do NOT show any added damage in comparison to non cannabis smokers.

Okay for all ya'll stoners who did not read the beginning post, I have tried rolling all different ways, all different coarsenesses of pot. This is the first time that I have seen any pot do this in years.

Doesn't crackle when smoked no belly ache.

For the scientist, have you ever burned anything besides weed? A piece of wood will burn into a hot coal before it burns down enough to turn into ashes. Depending on if the wood is treated or not determines how fast, how dirty, how long it burns. Where the heck you think charCOAL comes from.
