I just made a pretty sick homemade pipe, the only problem is when I used it the hot glue that was sealing the area around the bowl started to melt. Anyone know any safe-ish alternatives to hotglue? Thanks
ive tried candle wax before and that worked ok i guess. ive heard gum works though but ive never tried it.
It sounds like your bowl is to close to the hot glue. Try 10 min epoxy but dont get it anywhere in the bong just on the outside.
What are you using as a bowl and downstem? If your hot glue is melting then you may want to re-design your homemade, melting glue is never good. Have any pictures?
I've tried gum and it doesn't work that well.. not to hold something together. It's really only good for covering up holes if you somehow fucked up with your homemade piece.
It's a dry pipe, not a bong. It's basically a plastic bubble wand pipe, that I have modified to fit a bowl. But the metal bowl does not fit right, so I used hot glue to hold it in and make it airtight.
