Hot Chocolate?

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by BrizzlyBear, Jun 10, 2009.

  1. Alright, so one of my friends said that he saves all of his stems to make some type of THC Hot Chocolate.

Here's what he said he does:

    1) Brings whole milk mixed with a little Half-&-Half to a slow boil.
    2) Adds in a big bag of stems.
    3) Turns down the heat and lets the mixture simmer for awhile.
    4) Drains the boiled milk through a strainer to remove the stems
    5) Then adds hot chocolate mix

Now, stems have barely any (if any) THC content at all. So I'm wondering if just this would actually produce a buzz?

I would try it myself but I'm not off probation for another week or so.

  2. What is "half and half" ?

But yeah stems have a little THC in them, if he used enough, it sounds like it would work.

  3. Never heard of Half&Half? It's half cream and half milk.

A lot of people put it in their coffee. It's not really used for anything else.

  4. Half and half is half milk, half cream...

i guess its an american thing

  5. Oh. Yeah I've never heard of it, guess it's probably an American thing.

But yeah, dude. Sounds like it would work if he boiled it and simmered it for the right period of time at the right temperature.

  6. Oh ha, sorry L, didn't see you were from New Zealand.

    Thanks for the info.

  7. I know this is kind of an old thread now. But instead of creating a new thread for a simple question, i figures i`d just bump this one.

    On to the question...

When adding the stems to the milk mixture, how much smell will it create? Could I make it after my parents go to bed? Or is the smell to much?

  8. I've done it, with 2 grams of mids and 2 grams of stems/leaves.

Worked excellent, tasted great. The only difference is I used a tea bag and let that sit in the heated milk/cream for a while.
