I'm basically copying the hydro setup from Mr. Green's. One item has me wondering. On the veg side, all of the water hoses are just routed into the reservoir tub at random, no fittings, just ending well into the water supply. But on the flower side he takes care to route the drain hose from the ebb-n-flow tray to a fitting on the side of the reservoir tub at the very bottom. Why? It seems to me that just draping that hose into the tub would serve the same purpose.
That dudes videos are no good. They are full of not so great advice and are out of date. Not seen them for years but I'm sure he uses a MH bulb for flowering and sprays his plants with fizzy water
I'm copying his ideas for the hydro but that's about all. It seems to be sound knowledge to me. For the lights I'm using 4-tube T5 and HPS. Also improving on light leakage and filtering the ventilation.
