The characters are always so stupid. Everyone knows when you're put in a possibly dangerous situation, hooking up is the last thing you do. XD Currently watching Ghost Town on SyFy. Saturday is their horror movie day. It's awesome. =]
Lol. I have yet to come across a horror movie that has scared me. Not since IT and that scared me because I was four when my sister forced me to watch it.
are u that dude in the theater that giggles at the intense moments of movies because your really nervous and dont want to jump, so u pretend its funny to prepare yourself? cause i really hate that guy. edit: oh youre not a guy at all..
Don't worry, they make me laugh too. The gorier the better, and the shittier the better. Super gory and super shitty... Guaranteed super awesome.
Lol. No, I'm not a guy. But it's okay. And I'm not the person who giggles because I'm nervous, and I usually don't go to see horror films in the theater because of my amusement from them and movie tickets are not cheap here. ><
Have you seen Repo? It's an awesome movie, but I giggled throughout the entire thing. Even more when he was killing people. >=D
I haven't! Can you maybe link me to the imdb site for it or something? There are a few different matches when I put just "Repo" in there so I'm not sure which one it is. One movie I really loved that I saw recently was Slither. It's kind of a sci-fi horror, with some comedy, too. I thought it was a fantastically funny movie.
Paranormal Activity was far from scary for me... It was suspenseful definitely, in that it had me a bit tense waiting for the next moment when it would attempt to startle me with a loud noise in the middle of a bunch of silence (which unfortunately only happened once). But I wouldn't really say it was scary, at least for me. It did good with the suspense though, and I'll give it credit for that. I'll check out Antichrist.
It's full name is: Repo: The Genetic Opera. I'm not sure where you'd be able to find it online though, I'm sorry.
Well Scary Movie is a comedy, not a horror. Lol. What's really funny is how Scream was originally supposed to be a comedy. They used all the horror cliches and everything. People get scared too easily.
Has anyone here seen Eden Lake? It's actually a fairly disturbing movie... There were several very cringe-worthy scenes. Not very many movies have actually been unsettling enough to make me go "that was fucked up! "
Oh man. I loved that movie. There is a very specific amount of cheesiness required to make the perfect horror movie. Many are either too cheesy or not cheesy enough, but Sam Raimi got it just right. Slither was a good one too, very funny movie.
Scary Movies don't really affect me anymore except 1. Encounter of the 4th Kind 2. and any of the Faces of Death movies. I love the Faces of Death movies. Killing Animals is f*cked up but I have a somewhat creepy fascination/like watching people die.
