I've been trying to research to see if anyone has any experience in doing horizontal hoods with 1 or 2 bare bulbs as well. I see the pros and cons of doing either or but cannot find results or even a mentioning of both. I'm currently running 4 8" Raptor 1000's in a 12x12, debating on adding 2 bare 400's to maximize. I may be crazy or wasting my money, but hopefully i can get some advice. Thanks.
