I have purchased a midi-usb cord and have hooked up my Yamaha psr-172 to my laptop. It connects and recognizes the device, said it installed the drivers.. etc. I am using FL Studio 10 and it picks up the frequences of the keys being played and everything, but doesn't record the sound. Anyone know what i'm doing wrong here, i'd just like to figure it out already.
if its recognizing the keys you play in fl studio then its a problem with the daw rather than the keyboard; so you should be able to at least rule one of those out. sorry if thats no help haha, i know nothing of fl studio
