Honestly, are the munchies beatable?

  1. Once I began to smoke cigarettes regularly, I wasn't ever really assaulted with the munchies much. I guess the cigarette right after a bowl/blunt takes care of any cravings.
     

  2. Plus, it gives your high a nice little boost.

    My Marlboro Red is like the cherry on top on my wonderful weed. :D
     
  3. omg that is so funny cuz I do the same thing with my friends and that scattering to the kitchenpart just made me geek as I thought of human sized rats running for the kitchen
     
  4. i find i dont even get the munchies much now...like not that noticeably..i think when you stop eatin 3 pizzas every time you get high and just chill out and drink water you dont feel the need to eat tbh. 90% of the time now when i get baked im no more hungry than usual...so my only advice would be, drink lots of liquids and smoke more weed, altho these hav probably been said:smoking:

Well I smoke a lot and still get the munchies from time to time, though nowhere near as often when I first started...After you have what is essentially an unlimited supply of weed (for one guy) the munchies do become pointless... I would do what the Brit suggested and drink some milk. I love to eat an orange and some water and I'm good. If that doesn't make me sound like a 60's commune hippy I don't know what does. :-D
     
  6. I use to have this problem too even when I wasn't high. For me what really worked was keeping busy as I usually eat when I'm bored.

    video games and porn work extremely well for that lol. good luck bro.
     
  7. Im a new smoker (kinda). I did it a year ago every week for a few months, stopped, and now i do it again once a week. But ive never really gotten the munchies. Like food tastes better, but im never suddenly hungry after im high

  11. Due to this year, being trapped in a dorm room without food has taught me how to ignore the munchies.. Can't buy any food after 7pm.
     
  12. In my opinion, the munchies are beaten mentally, not physically. THC reacts with the brain's cannibinoid receptors and makes you think that you are hungry. I fall victim quite frequently, recently eating a steak dinner and turning around 5 minutes later to eat a digiorno 4 meat pizza. With my high metabolism, I can do this and not gain one pound. However, I realize that not everyone is like this. So the only advice i can give is drinking a non-carbonated drink (as said before), it works for me. And try to not think of food, though it's difficult. Good luck, and happy toking.
     
  13. I find that having some flavored uncarbonated drink really hates controlling them munchies, as long as I stay away from food I'm not too tempted, but if some food gets in range its all over...

    I run 5+ miles everyday so I can eat as much as I want but the feeling you get when you realize how full you are is not very pleasant.. nor is getting so stoned you puke up a whole bag of Cheeto's -.-
