Hommade grinder??

my friend i dont think its possible. im sorry i tried this myself once upon a time. after a lot of searching i saw ONE grinder that someone made, it was made out of wood and instead of teeth to grind the bud the creator hammered nails through the the wood so they acted as the teeth. no i dont have a pic of it, you will have to use your imagination but im telling you man, your gunna have to put in atleast 3+ hours of thought and creativity to make something work. even then it will probably break reasonably soon.

sorry bud, theres really no way of making one that i could think of, and i put alot of time into trying to build one. your gunna have to stick to scissors and a shot glass i think. if you do make one thouhg, please inform me.


EDIT- OHH one of my old dealers had an electric coffee bean grinder that worked amazingly. somehow it even collected DISGUSTING amounts of crystal. dont know the brand or type though so i guess thats no help. i suppose if you have a walmart close by take a stroll through there and see what you can find?

p.s i just bought the sexiest grinder like an hour ago, i busted up a tiny amount of bud and already have a bunch of delicious kief.

 

depending on where you are in S FL, I would say get a ride to the swap shop and get one for like 5 bucks, but i know thats not what you asked for

I guess you could make a simple one if you have the tools. Like have two hollowed out cylindrical pieces of wood that fit inside each other and then drill into them and use a glue gun or something to pu some sharpened metal in there. Honestly, I would just break it up with my hands until I could get a grinder.

bottom line is, its gunna be REALLY hard to make an efficient one. id say near impossible. sorry bud hope i helped!

 

The thing is you can make one. Just like a headshop one. But you are going to need carpentry tools, materials purchased from a hardware store, etc. If you are talking about one with a kief catch you are talking about many hours of work.

Way more work, time, and money than going to a head shop and buying one for $10.

Scissors and a glass ashtray or shot glass works pretty well.

I've been smoking over ten years and I still just cut my bud up over a kief catcher with cuticle scissors. You can do the same thing over a piece of glass and just scrape up the kief with a credit card.

 

you might as well go out and buy one. much less work and much better quality than making your own.

Im guessing u still live with ur parents saying u have no car? Does ur mom have an old coffee bean grinder?

 

Ive heard of people dicing it up with a knife on a plate or a cutting board like any other herb but i haven't ever done it myself. Seeing as I paid the 20 bucks for a decent grinder myself.


they are one of the best stoner investments you can have. But try out that knife and plate idea, it should work. just make sure to wipe off all the residue from the plate when you're done. And remember! the less you handle your weed the better it will taste and hit

hmm. this is a wild guess i havent acually tried it but i think it could work.you could take a plastic dip can and find some very short nails that only left enough room to turn it i would say they would need to be shorter than half the height of the can. then put a good bit of nails into each side of the dip can and duct tape over the heads on the outside to make sure they stay in. thanks for reading and good luck

 

Just use scissors like us old school stoners did before they made grinders and still do.

Big glass+scissors. Just jab the scissors around and cut and shit. Works pretty well imo
