Homework while High

i can't focus on that shit when im high, i can however do other stuff

 

I agree with you on the Chemistry and the same thing with Calculus. I'm not getting stoned off my ass, but I'll occasionally hit the bowl. Works well for me anyways

 

Everything is so much more clear to me! But then I never remember what I read the next day. So it's good if there is something due the next day and it's not just studying for a test or something.

 

I have ADD, but I have learned to live with it, and how to force myself not to have distractions. btw, I should get off gc right now haha.

 

I've been smoking for about 6 months now, and only about 2 times a week i toke, so i have a pretty low tolerance. I can barely text when i'm stoned. There's way too much thinking involved, and i end up texting the dumbest shit. So i'm not sure how i would do with homework lol.

personally i agree with you it is definitly easier to concentrate on your work. because your brain is working harder to think of stuff you can zone in on one peticular thing alot easier.

 

I try to smoke all day like the rastas(but I doubt i come close!) And it definitely helps my focus. I find what I smoke has to be some dank though in order for me to truly be functional. If its mids or some swag then I'll just be lazy.
Tonight I finished a weeks worth of Psychology, Anatomy and Physiology, and History in 6 hours. Ripped a bowl at 12am and at 3.30am. Still pretty buzzed. Been jamming Miles Davis and Grover Washington all night. Probly gonna take another rip and lay down for a few hours in a bit. But I definitely enjoy toking and homework it helps my memorization and creativity in answering essay questions. I'm a great deal more talkative when I'm floating.

 

To everyone that can study while high what are you smoking? All i get is indicas around here and the last thing on my mind after smoking is homework, does it matter what type your smoking or is it only with sativas? Going to grow some Sativa soon and would love to be able to smoke up and be able to finish my assignments.

 

Honestly, for me its the genetics of the weed I'm smoking. I've had productive highs where I get ripped as fuck and just love excersising, cooking meals, or doing work. But those couchlock highs make me want to do nothing obviously.

 

Sativas are preferred for pretty much any mental aliment, ADD, depression, anxiety etc.

I have ADD and a good saliva hybrid is perfect for me and allows me to go without the pills I'm prescribed.

I really only smoke dank, but if I get stuck with only having an indica I have to be more careful with how much I smoke. An indica can still help me, but I have to be careful with how much I smoke if I'm trying to be productive that day..

 

I enjoy smoking before / while studying for midterms / finals and before taking the tests. Best way to make test anxiety go away

 

I find it hard to write essays baked and sometimes my writing goes a bit dodgy so it looks like a 3 year old has written it :| Weed definately does motivate me though, today i went into lesson for the first time high (geography ohh joy,) and i found i just sat n got on with everything, rather than sit and complain!

Yep what i was thinking.

I seem to be on the fence about homework high. Of course im one person, aunique individual so results vary. It improves concentration and inspiration toward something most of us cant stand doing. This is amazing how it makes homework ...fun but its not all about the fun its the passion that comes with doing somthing you now have a deep interest in because of the perception change. Or because of concentration working as it should. On the other hand it seems to hurt my short term memory which is terrible to begin with while sober. So because of this i would sometimes find myself reading things over again. Maybe one day a strain wiill be created that has short term memmory loss bred out of it. Maybe a strain exists now.....

 

nahh man everytime i smoke and try to do my homework my pet orangutan always eats it

 

i cant do homework while high ill sit there zone out end up laughing at something with a friend then just walk around from my books and forget i was even doing homeowork lol
