Hi, I am trying to make my own THC vape juice at home but it gives me no effect. I followed recipes I got from the Internet (where I found several postings that all follow the same procedure, such as decarb and double-boiling with PG/VG). The vaping itself works fine, but it lacks potency. I tried several times, decarbing for longer periods, double-boiling for longer periods, etc. I also purchased a machine that automates the whole process. Still, no potency. I thought my home-grown bud might be the problem, so I purchased 7g of flower from a dispensary. I went through the process with half the bud. Again no effect. With the other half of the bud I reduced the volume of PG/VG. Still no potency. That seems to destroy that theory. Can anyone tell me what I can do to increase the potency? I use a 60/40 mix of VG/PG respectively, decarb at 240 degrees and double-boil at 180 degrees. Thank you!
Thanks for responding. Are you suggesting that I use shatter instead of pursuing this rabbit trail, or is it somehow used in a process adaptation? (I am a newbie)
That's exactly what I'm suggesting, use shatter instead of bud. I haven't made it in awhile, but used a product called "Clear" and shatter and produced a nice product. I don't know if that particular product is still available, but there ought to be something similar out there Good Luck.
