So me and a couple buddies wanna give eachother some homemade tattoos. We've been doing some research and we've learned how to make the needle and what-not, now we just need to know what ink to use. We know not to use pen ink, and we've been looking at a few pages that say to burn paper and mix the ashes with water. Also, we've found a couple sites that suggest burning plastic and collecting the particles from the smoke to use. Is anyone here familiar with homemade tattoos? We're leaning towards the burning plastic method, and i was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions? like should we mix it with just water, or should we also add shampoo, like some sites say to do? or should we use mouthwash instead of water? any and all info would be a great help...thanks! ::also, if you're gonna tell me its a bad idea and dont do it and blahblahblah do me a favor and dont even post. i understand the risks and all and im gonna be as sterile as possible and im GOING to do it, whether you think i should or not.::
Uh how about you get a real tattoo instead of getting a prison tat, that may get infected and look horrible....
Make a homemade tat gun homie. Me and my boys got one we made haha. Its works good too. As far as ink we went and got real tat ink from a shop. But in prison i think its burnt toilet paper and shampoo.
A few years ago when I was angst-ridden and fucked up on pills I carved "Pantera" and "Slayer" into my left and right leg, respectively. Over time they faded, so I ended up giving myself a way more intense one of a pentagram with an inverted cross. What I did (was fucking retarded) was take a knife and carve the design/words first, then I took a needle, dipped it in some ink from a pen, and used the needle to dig deeper into my flesh to deposit it. I still have the pentagram, with still pretty bright blue lines. All in all I'd recommend just getting a real tattoo, they look better, probably don't hurt as bad, and you have less risk of infection. I didn't get infected though, but easily could have.
I would personally suggest checking out eBay and Amazon for real tattoo ink (it's like $5-$6 a bottle). This way you know you're using good materials and you don't have to fuck around with burning plastic and whatever else.
Yes it is, why not research & buy a tattoo kit at least then the outline will look decent I have a few friends who are Great tattoo artist from practicing on people without chargen them.. Its not really hard but a homemade gun the needle or guitar string bounces around. I have two homemade gun tatts
hmm i hadnt read about that one...have you done this yourself before? also im wary about mixing shampoo...is this a tried and true method? obviously this is the first time for me and i wanna make sure i do this in the best way possible. we've got the needles and all, all i really need to know is how to make the ink
You can get real tattoo ink at most hobby places dont go mixing some crazy shit or using pen ink thats how u get ink poison
i've done it on a friend with rubbing alcohol instead of shampoo, what you do is cut a can in half, fill it with a little bit with baby oil, burn the bottom till the baby oil starts to form a shit ton of soot and then mix it with the alcohol
Homemade tattoos without any experience usually end up looking like complete shit. My friends all went through a phase where they thought it was cool as fuck and they all regret it now and have gay ass tattoos. Shitty, faded tattoos are not cool. But, if you insist on doing it you should at least get legitimate tattoo ink.
Good idea, probs best to buy tattoo ink though or it will fade prison tatt styles. Ive seen some of these turn out good and some turn out real bad but the process of makin a gun and doin it all yourself is mad fun. Probobally already know this if you been reading but be real careful with the depth that the needle will go, seen one that went to far and was hittin nerves or something dude was in chronic pain had to get people to hold him down and shit haha.
like he said, you can get it at most craft stores I believe. And just being homemade doesn't mean it will come out shitty. Depends if you do it shitty, my dad has plenty of ink with homemade guns they look the same as his professional ones from the same time (they don't look as good as his newer tats though)
or he can't afford it. they arent cheap, just because somebody wants a homemade whatever doesn't mean theyre a minor.
