Homemade, DELICIOUS Icecream (Own recipie) (With MaryJane)

    Hi.

    I am new on this forum, So I though I would share my own top recipie for my famous (yes famous amongst my friends.) Homemade MaryJane Icecream.



    Lets start off with what youll need.

    This is a 2 person portion. (1 person can easly finish this alone.)

    50 g Sugar
    0,25 dl Water (This is for the Vanilla Mix.)
    0,5 Vanilla sticks (fresh is best)
    2,5 Egg yokes (Pardon my english.)
    2 dl Whipping Cream
    1 plate Chocolate
    3-10 Grams MaryJane (depending on how high your aiming.)


    The Recipie for ''The MaryJane Experience Creamy Delight'' By Absens. :

    Step 1:
    Boil up Sugar, Water (0,25DL) and the vanilla stick (split horizontaly) Scrape out the vanilla corns inside, Let the mix boil for 5 mins.

    Step 2:
    Whip the egg yokes and add the hot vanilla mix from step 1, (Remove the vanilla stick). Whip too a ''Aerial'' eggedosis, approx 10 min.

    Step 3:
    Whip the whipping cream till it reaches firmness, and mix the eggedosis from Step 2 gently into the cream.

    Step 4:
    Add your finely grinded MaryJane into the mix in a bowl.
    Just make sure you keep the AIR in the mix, keep it fluffy and nice, stir slowly while you add the MJ.

    Step 5:
    Put the bowl into the Freezer over the Night.

    Tip:
    If you are in a hurry to digest this delicious dish, Make sure it reaches solidform before digestion.



    :Optional Step 4.5:
    You can add many things to disquise the MJ, Heres a few of the things i usually add for the variety. Strawberries ( Need a blender for optimal results. just to blend it up to tiny chunks, You do not want the strawberry juice, so filter it out, till you only got the bits of strawberry left, add the tiny bitts to the mix with the MJ, and youll have tiny bits of strawberry and MJ as a good base for a great taste.

    You can also add:
    -Any Fruit
    -Chocolate bits
    -Nutts
    -More Vanilla,
    -White Chocolate
    -Freshly cut Apples(Without the skin)One of my favourites AFTER the original.

    You can also dropp the chocolate saus and just add Fresh strawberries cut, and sprinkled over it.
    see the picture further down.

    The Sauce:

    Break up the chocolate bar into small pieces, melt it in 0.5 dl water on the stove, add butter, Stir untill the saus is even, (Served Warm, Do not make the sauce the same time as your icecream, Make it when you are ready to serve the icecream.

    Tip: If you want the best result with the sauce, get a chocolate you really enjoy. You can also add Maryjane to the sauce after its finished if you want to take it up a notch.


    Option 2

    Heres the option for the people that really want to get a hardhitting buzz from the dish.
    The second option is just a minor adjustment, Instead of mixing all the MJ into the Cream mix, you split it up 80/20 % meaning you put 20% off the MJ into the Cream, and 80% into the Chocolate/butter Saus.

    For this to be an option, Melt up some butter, before adding the chocolate, let it melt, add the chocolate, when its all melted and smooth in texture, you add 80% off the MJ, stir firmly, and let it soak for a few mins before serving. This will allow the fat to absorb more.

    If you want a sweet, mellow high, you go for the regular recipie, if you want to take your highs to a new plane of exsistence, go for option 2.

    Option 2 Requires butter in the chocolate mix and holding back on the water.


    Warning:
    This dish is very soothing, Very nice taste, and it'll get you to exactly where you want to be. Since its so easy to digest, its easy to misjudge how much youve actually eaten, slow and steady will get you there even though theres no chance youll be eating slowly. :)

    Hey m8, The first time you make it, youll spend 20 mins TOPS! depending on how high you are tho, lol, usually when i make it, i can pull it off in 10 mins with a helping hand from a m8 ( whipping stuff)

    But take your time, spend like 30 mins with a friend / gf or alone, enjoy the fumes , the better you do, the better the finished product:))

    A really easy recipie that most people would avoid due to the fact that people rather wanna buy finished ice cream... home made takes less time then going to the store so, homemade <3 all the way:))

    You wont regret taking the time to make this.

  7. Ummm, you just straight up add grounded bud in there ? don't you have to "activate" it somehow like baking it or making cannabutter?
     

  8. There are several ways of using buds in the mix, I dont do anything with it before using it in this recipie, Grind it up, (Preferable cured and well dried MJ) to a powder without crushing the tricomes, and adding it as is.

    The other choice you have, is to make cannabutter, and adding it in the sauce, but that does not taste as well. and the difference in the buzz is 0.

    So personally i prefer keeping it simple. :)

    Baking it only removes potency, making it into butter as in cannabutter doesent do anything to the MJ, really.. other then absorbing everything it can. wich is the same deal with the icecream, it will absorb and spread the tricomes in the icecream, leaving a tastefull and great dessert.

    So to answer your question in one word, Yes. :)

    Yes I have, When i first started experimenting on how to make the best result icecream, I noticed that when i tried mixing it into the whipping cream, before mixing both the cream and the vanilla mix together, for some reason Ive allways had a better ''smoothness'' in the texture of the finished product mixing it when both the whipped cream and vanilla mix have been mixed.

    Mostly due to the fluffyness you gain after mixing them, Tho it has no Major impact on the result! :) And well, It does not make a big difference, So both ways work fine:) its all about preferences ! :)

    so... if you ground up some bud, and digest it directly, you'd get high ? :confused:
     

  13. You would not end up getting high unless you ate a whole bunch of bud. If you decarboxylate the bud first then u can get high from eating it, but even then its still much better to combine with a fat, alcohol, or glycerine.
     

  14. Look, from my experience, The bud ALLWAYS get grounded and added to a hot ''fat'' Regardless of what you make, Butter is a common ingrediet, Please Read ''Option 2'' before you diss the recipie. :)

    Anyways. I Shared this for other tokers, Its theyre free will to try it, or not. Atleast i shared some of my recipies to the society, and i know from personal experience this recipie works. keep in mind, The Vanilla/Sugar/water mixture is boiled, and still close to boiling point @ mixing, wich means the mixture is the rigth temprature to absorb and ''activate'' the MJ. seeing as its mixed into the Cream mixture aswell. And to top it all off, The chocolate saus is also a big part of the kick ye get, seeing as its cannabutter Equivelant.

    Anyways, Just read the entire thing before you post negative comments when you havent even tried it m8 :)

  15. Yes, And if youd understand the recipie as i hopefully wrote everything in a manner wich is understandable, The MJ Goes into all the processes neccesary for it to give a buzz, Through the mixing, And the Saus.

    Could be my english that makes people uncertain, but hey, As i told the other guy, I Shared something, in comparison of not doing so, and aslong as ME personally know it works, I see no problems in posting the recipie to fellow tokers :)

    ITs all about personal prefferences, but every recipie goes through some of the same / equal processes before completion.

    Hopefully youll go through it once more and see my point :)

    I am going to go to the grocery store to get the ingredients now. I'll be cooking the mj in the chocolate and butter. This sounds amazing dude, I never thought of making icecream with mj <3

There are different levels of extraction. throwing bud in some fat and cooking it as a part of an entire dish will not give you the same results as extracting the cannabinoids from the bud into a fat and then incorporating the fat into a dish. Time, heat, and agitiation are key to making edibles properly.

    also, no matter what u do if you don't decarboxylate the bud first, the end result will not be as strong as it should.

Understandable m8, ''Not as strong'' allright, But have you read what i posted at all? theres 2 options included, along with the basic recipie, all for different strengths in character, I appreciate you trying to lecture me. But as told previously, I have tested all my recipies, and can vouch for them, If you dont trust them, theres no one trying to force you into it :)

    Thanks for your time, but I am done arguing about diff ways to get potency, This is something individual MJChefs usually read up on before starting on a recipie, But I still included every aspect needed to succesfully get high, and with a very good taste. That was my goal, :)

    Im thankfull for your words m8, really. But still you gotta read every aspect of the recipie before you judge it so harshly :) There is a reason behind everything in it, The reagents and the Steps.

  20. reporting back. It works but I modified it quite a lot so its not really true to original.

    I've decarboxylated the mj, threw 20% or so of it into the icecream. The other 80% I made it into this apple pie filling like thing and mixed in.
    The apple thing was something like this, sorry no exact measurements. I guesstimated it

    golden delicious apples, cut, mix with teenie bit of lemon juice, some nutmeg, cinnamon and brown sugar. Leave it there for a couple of hours to get the excess apple juice out. Strain and keep the juice. Boil juice with butter and mj till caramelized. Mix caramalized juice back to apples, toss. Mix into the half frozened icecream. Eat it a couple of hours later :yummy:
