Didn't want to dish out $70 to get a RooR wooden display stand for my bowls, so I thought I'd try to get a little crafty... - I made this out of some rubber grommits ($1 at Home Depot) and a $3 wooden trophy (took the trophy off an used the wooden stand). I finished it off by painting the top red, and gluing the grommits with gorilla glue. They hold my 18mm bowls PERFECT! Let me know what you guys think!

I liked the hell out of that thing. Creative use of materials, and I don't think you can go wrong with a trophy base for some of your most prized possessions.
