So I’ll be doing my first outdoor grow this year and have a quick question for you all. How big of holes do I need to dig for each plant? ; a friend of mine told me he digs his 2 wide by 2 feet deep ; How big do you all dig your holes for each plant ? And what’ nessesarry ? I dig mine 3' wide and 2' deep, and fill with my own soil mix. I'd imagine 2' wide is good enough. After harvest when I pull mine up, the roots seem to be wider rather than deeper. It's not going to hurt anything if your roots grow out past your hole and into the earth.
